Englewood, CO (March 20,2019) The Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce announced its Board of Directors has appointed David Carroll as the organization’s next executive director. Carroll will start in the new position early April succeeding Randy Penn, who has held the post for past four years.
“We want to thank Randy for his dedicated and thoughtful leadership over the last four years. His committed service during that time has resulted in significant growth in both membership and, programming” Nancy Byers, President of the Board, said. “Today we are thrilled to welcome David as the new Executive Director and look forward to his leadership as we transition into the next phase of our organizational life.”
Carroll holds an MBA in nonprofit management from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Colorado State University. He has extensive experience in membership programs and social media marketing. He has been active in the community as a previous trustee of the Englewood Historic and Preservation Society; current Chair of the Englewood Cultural Art Commission and founding member of Friends of Jason Park.
