Highlands Ranch, CO, Feb. 1, 2018-The Ranch Smokehouse and Grille, a restaurant specializing in slow-smoked barbecue favorites, recently opened in Highlands Ranch. This is the second restaurant owned by husband and wife team, Scotty Smith and Joylyn Quintana. It is based upon the original concept of the Genesee Pub and BBQ, located in Golden, CO.
"The reason I opened up The Ranch Smokehouse and Grille was so that people could enjoy a family-run business and enjoy great barbecue in a comfortable setting," Smith explains. Both locations offer a slow-smoked BBQ favorites such as brisket, ribs, pulled pork and prime rib. The Ranch Smokehouse and Grille menu also includes steaks, seafood and salads.
Smith is a seasoned restaurateur, having owned several successful restaurant establishments in the Denver area. He is originally from Cape Cod where he developed his passion for seafood. His New England clam chowder has quickly become a hit among customers in addition to other seafood specialties.
Starting on weekdays in February, The Ranch Smokehouse and Grille will be offering an Express Lunch from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. "We know people don't have a lot of time for lunch, so this makes it easy to stop in and pick up lunch in 10 minutes or less," adds Smith.
In addition to Happy Hour and Weekly Specials, the restaurant also offers full-service or pick up catering. Space is also available for office parties, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties and other special occasions.
The family-owned restaurants believe in giving back to the community. "We hosted a Non-Profit Expo, which included 30 participating nonprofits, at the Genesee Pub and BBQ last Fall," mentions Quintana. "We have since made a commitment to raise funds for local nonprofits every month including some fundraisers in Highlands Ranch with the local school's sports teams.
The Ranch Smokehouse and Grille is located in the Highlands Ranch Town Center North at 1164 Sgt. Jon Stiles Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. The Ribbon Cutting/Grand Open will take place on Wednesday, February 7 at 5:00 p.m. Light appetizers and drinks will be served along with live music.
