Step right up to the Platte River Academy Carnival Fundraiser! The community is invited to spend a fun day at this special event, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the school, 4085 Lark Sparrow St. in Highlands Ranch.
Admission is Free; Tickets will be sold individually for rides, activities and traditional carnival games. There will be something for everyone, including a bungee trampoline, rock climbing wall, hamster balls and a trackless train, plus much more!! Try your hand at winning fun prizes under the red and white tents at the midway carnival games.
Tickets will be $1-$2 each. Every ride or game will require tickets to participate. Food trucks will also be selling lunch, snacks and drinks.
All proceeds will go to the school’s “Crusade for the Classrooms” fundraiser. The goal is to raise $50,000.
Platte River Academy is a charter school that has served the Douglas County community since 1997. With 500 students grades preschool through 8th grade, PRA has earned the John Irwin School of Excellence Award every year it has been awarded. This award recognizes academic achievement from the top 8 percent of schools in Colorado for excellence in math, English, language arts and science.
