Brett Logan is a 14 year old from Parker, Colorado. He is no stranger to obstacles. He was born with Down syndrome and two heart defects. At age nine, Brett entered the foster care system after being found neglected and wandering the streets alone. Soon after, Brett went to live with his former special education teacher and three years later they became a forever family. In addition to his Down syndrome, Brett also had to overcome the obstacles of abuse, neglect, epilepsy, and a variety of other health issues. He perseveres through any challenges and has crushed all limits and expectations to the ground. He is now using his story, charm, and charisma as a 2018 ambassador for Nothing Down, an organization aimed at outreach, awareness, fundraising, and program development for families affected by Down syndrome. He was featured in their 2018 calendar and made the cover as well! Brett's outgoing personality, zest for life, and engaging smile make him perfect for this role. He was recently signed by a local modeling agency, cheers on the Varsity cheer team at Legend High school, and was chosen as a 2017 outstanding youth in Douglas County. Brett is proving to the community that there is Nothing Down about Down syndrome.
