Jeffco residents are invited to create a lasting legacy with the Columbine Library remodel
(Lakewood, Colo. – Oct. 2, 2017) Jefferson County Library Foundation (JCLF) and Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) are offering naming rights in conjunction with the recent remodel of the Columbine Library. Residents can help to provide 21st-century library services in South Jefferson County, while ensuring that their generosity will be recognized for years to come.
A range of naming oppor¬tu¬ni¬ties are avail¬able for indi¬vid¬u¬als, families, orga¬ni¬za¬tions, foundations and cor¬po¬ra¬tions, enabling donors to pay trib¬ute to their rela¬tion¬ship with Jefferson County Public Library and the Columbine Library or to honor and rec¬og¬nize some¬one spe¬cial in their lives.
•Naming opportunities range in value from $5,000 to $50,000 and give donors the opportunity to name major areas and service offerings in the library.
•Name recognition opportunities range from $1,000 to $5,000 and give donors the opportunity to be recognized for providing access to updated technology and other library amenities.
•Individual donations are welcome as well and will be recognized on a special donor wall inside the library.
“We’re excited to launch this program in conjunction with the Columbine Library remodel,” said Tami Bandimere, board president, JCLF. “We know how much the South Jeffco community values library services, and this gives folks a chance to demonstrate that commitment in a very visible way.”
“The Columbine Library remodel allows us to address demonstrated needs in South Jefferson County,” said Pam Nissler, executive director, JCPL. “We’re hopeful that this program will allow us to create a very special library for area residents and add a few special features as we go forward.”
Construction on the Columbine Library began in April, and the grand reopening of the remodeled library is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21 from 9-5. Residents can expect to see a fresh, modern library with improved building access, more popular materials, enhanced technology, more intentional spaces for kids, teens and adults, a more open and inviting feel -- and even a drive-up book return!
Moneys raised through the naming program will support enhancements to the building and its amenities. For more information on the naming program, contact Rebecca Winning at 303-275-2203 or Rebecca.email@example.com, or visit jeffcolibrary.org/columbinenaming.
