Senior Post player, 6'4", Kaylie Rader, from Horizon High School has been selected to play in "The Show" on April 6, 2013. The game will be before the Nuggets game and shown live on Altitude Network. Kaylie finished her high school career two weeks ago losing to the state champion Regis High School team. Kaylie was selected the MVP of the Front Range 5A league this, and along with being selected as one of the top 20 girls in the State she was selected as an All-State player. She finished an impressive career averaging 13 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks a game. She scored just short of 1,000 points with 988, 742 rebounds, and 241 blocks, in an injury shortened three year high School Career. Rader missed her sophomore campaign due to a torn LCL. She came back from the injury despite doctors telling her she would never play competitive basketball again because of the nerve damage that left her unable to lift her foot or push it out. Kaylie set out to prove the doctors wrong after they said she could try and play. Not only did she prove them wrong, but she is arguably on the top post players in the state. Next year Kaylie will be moving up not only in level of play, but also just north to play for University of Wyoming Cowgirls on a full ride scholarship. She will leave her high school team in good hands with another 2013 All- Front Range League player at post, her sophomore sister Alyssa. The younger Rader was second in scoring, rebounding, and blocks to her big sister.
