LITTLETON, CO – Hi-Five Sports, the leading provider of fun and transformative youth sports entertainment, today announced plans to open a new Hi-Five Sports Zone location at Southwest Plaza in June 2019. With almost 30 years’ experience enriching the lives of children ages 3-13, Hi-Five Sports will give families in and around Littleton year-round access to sports leagues, camps, classes and parties that are proven to have a positive impact on children.
The new Hi-Five Sports Zone facility will be located on the second level of Southwest Plaza, next to Dillard’s and GameStop. This is Hi-Five Sports’ second Brookfield Properties-owned mall location. The 5,400 square-foot facility will incorporate space for a variety of Hi Five’s unique range of team sports activities and schoolyard games. It will also have a “kid-sized” basketball court and turf field, a beginner climbing wall, as well as an event space for Hi-Five’s sports-themed birthday parties.
Additionally, the Hi-Five Sports Zone’s convenient location will allow busy parents to drop kids off so they can shop while their children are learning the fundamentals of team sports. The Littleton complex is the third in a strategic move by Hi-Five Sports to explore non-traditional locations for the brand. The company also has plans to open a number of new locations nationwide.
“Amazon has certainly impacted retail, and as a result, many traditional mall stores are closing. Hi-Five has found its niche as the youth sports entertainment experience that will remain untouched by changes in the retail landscape brought about by technology. Hi-Five is excited to be part of this innovative retail transformation,” said Ryan Tuchman, owner of the Hi-Five Sports Zone in Southwest Plaza and CEO of Hi-Five Sports Franchising. “Our new location in Southwest Plaza will provide a unique indoor sports experience that will be a game-changer for the local community.”
