Support a great cause and enjoy great food at the same time. The restaurant 240 Union will donate 25% of all food sales all day to Seniors’ Resource Center (SRC) on Thursday, April 5, 2018. The restaurant is on 240 Union Boulevard in Lakewood.
2018 marks 40 years of nonprofit SRC helping local seniors age in place. Over the decades, SRC has grown locations and adapted services to help thousands of seniors age at home safely and more affordably.
Our society is facing a challenge around aging, with a senior population that is growing faster than the rest of the population. By 2040, more than 24% of the total population of Colorado will be age 60 or older. At the same time, costs associated with aging are rising. One solution is to provide affordable resources that make it possible to age at home, and this is SRC’s mission.
240 Union has been a pillar of the Lakewood community since 1989, serving fabulous meals and spirits in its one-of-a-kind showroom of a restaurant. Its sixty-foot open kitchen allows guests to view preparation of fine contemporary American cuisine that changes with the seasons.
SRC is grateful to 240 Union for their generosity in supporting SRC. Reservations are encouraged and can be made online at www.240Union.com or by calling 303-989-3562. Please call for parties of seven or more.
