Highlands Ranch Aquatics (HRA) Head Coach, Eric Fehr was awarded the prestigious Colorado Coach of the Year Award at the Colorado Swimming awards banquet on Saturday, October 7th.
Eric was recognized not only for his cutting edge coaching style but for serving the Colorado swimming community as a Meet Director, Coach’s Representative and mentor.
Part of the voting criteria for the Coach of the Year Award was outstanding performance by a team. Highlands Ranch Aquatics had some remarkable accomplishments over the last year including an exceptional performance at the Four Corners Section meet in March. HRA were women’s team champions and combined team runners up, competing against the top swimming teams from Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.
In December 2016, Highlands Ranch Aquatics was designated as a USA Swimming Bronze Medal Club. Achieving Bronze Medal status was an enormous accomplishment for Highlands Ranch Aquatics and our community. We were the highest performing club in the south metro Denver area, outpacing teams 3-4 times our size.
The Highlands Ranch Aquatics swim team is committed to providing an enjoyable, complete, and competitive swimming experience for athletes of all appropriate ages and abilities. For more information contact email@example.com or visit our website, www.hraswim.org
