Denver, Colorado: On September 22, 2017 HindmanSanchez P.C., a Colorado community association law firm and CAI member, along with Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C., sponsored the “HindmanSanchez Street Search”. Ten teams from Colorado community association management companies dressed as pirates and competed in a scavenger hunt to raise donations for Brent’s Place, a home away from home for families coming to Denver for life-saving treatments for their children.
Brent’s Place alleviates fears and removes burdens while providing a necessary bridge between the hospital and home. Brent’s Place is the only Children’s Hospital of Colorado approved “Safe-Clean” housing for immune-compromised patients and their families.
During this event, HindmanSanchez employees were stationed at various locations around downtown Denver. Community association management companies figured out clues to various stations and participated in activities at each stop. For every $150 raised by a team in advance for Brent’s Place, the members of the team received an extra “hint” to one of the stations. The total amount raised for Brent’s Place was just over $14,000.00.
The following community association management companies fielded one or more competing teams and/or donated to the cause:
•Colorado Association Services
•Community Management Specialists, Inc.
•Hammersmith Management, Inc.
•Haven Community Management
•ProActive Community Management
•Westwind Management Group, Inc.
•Zeato Property Management, LLC
Awards went to: 1st Place for Most Clues – Hammersmith Management; 2nd Place for Most Clues – MSI, LLC; Most Donations - Hammersmith Management; Best Costume - ProActive Community Management. Pictures are available upon request.
