The Historic 10-Acre Farm in located on the SE Corner of Brighton, right off of Bromley Lane, next to the Brighton Oasis Water Park, has remained a farm for the last 127 years. Emmett Bromley, the first owner, is often referred to as the “Father of Adams County” for his efforts to have Adams County Created from neighboring Arapahoe County.
With a focus on Local Food and Farming, the Farm Festival will have many activities to engage folks in Local Ag and Outdoor Fun, like learning how to mill grain into flouwr, creating a Public Art work with TeePee design, Grain and Seed Bottle Art Crafting, great Local Food, and even “Cattle” roping fun. The Bromley Farm Fest will also feature staples of fall festivals with Pumpkins from the Patch, and an interactive “Bee and Honeycomb” Corn Maze.
Another unique aspect is the partnership with the WolfPack Ninjas, the Colorado group of American Ninja Warriors. With the phenomenon of the American Ninja Warrior show on TV, hundreds of thousands of kids are being inspired to: Put down their electronic devices, and “Go out and Climb Something.”
The Partnership with the WolfPack Ninjas will include both individual Ninjas and a Youth Obstacle Course for Kids to display their “Inner Ninja.” The Youth Course, with Ninja Spotters, is open each Friday Saturday and Sunday in October, with Ninja All Star Celebrity appearances each Sunday.
With the Historic Farm focusing on healthy local foods, and the WolfPack Ninjas’ focus on healthy activities for our local youth, the Farm Festival is a one of kind “Outdoor Experience” for families.
The Farm Festival will run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through the end of October, with School Field Trips and Group outings Tuesday through Friday, and The Farm is closed on Mondays.
