Apple Tree Christian Preschool & Kindergarten Receives Highest Rating from State of CO

Broomfield, CO – April, 10, 2017 – Apple Tree Christian Preschool & Kindergarten (ATCPK) announced today that it has received the highest Level 5 rating by Colorado Shines, the state’s quality rating and improvement system for early learning programs.

Colorado Shines is a service offered through the Colorado Department of Human Services Office of Early Childhood. It rates Colorado’s early care and learning programs, connects families with quality programs and helps early care and learning programs improve their quality.

The Colorado Shines program looks at how early learning programs:

•Support children’s health and safety.

•Ensure their early childhood professionals are well-trained and effective.

•Provide a supportive learning environment that teaches children new skills.

•Help parents become partners in their child’s learning.

•Demonstrate strong leadership and business practices.

About Apple Tree Christian Preschool & Kindergarten

Apple Tree Christian Preschool & Kindergarten is a ministry within Broomfield United Methodist Church. As a non-profit organization providing early childhood programs for ages 2 ½ years through Kindergarten, their mission is to prepare God’s children for their lifelong journey of learning by instilling Christian values, developing positive social skills and encouraging academic success.
