The Arapahoe Community College Foundation is proud to announce that it has received a $15,000 sponsorship from Wells Fargo to fund scholarships for ACC students.
“Wells Fargo is proud to support the work that Arapahoe Community College is doing in Colorado,” said Katye Edwards, Wells Fargo at Work program consultant. “Financial literacy is critical to the success of our community members. Supporting education and providing opportunities for all to become financially successful is an ongoing focus that is vital to our state’s future.”
Thanks to the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI), the ACC Foundation is able to match Wells Fargo’s sponsorship dollar-for-dollar. The goal of COSI is to increase post-secondary degree/certificate completion and the preparedness of Colorado students to earn a livable wage, graduate with less debt and positively contribute to the growth of our state’s economy.
“We are most grateful to Wells Fargo for their generosity,” said Courtney Loehfelm, Executive Director of the ACC Foundation. “Current and future ACC students will benefit tremendously from this gift, and with the COSI matching initiative, Wells Fargo’s impact is doubled. Our most sincere thanks to Wells Fargo.”
The ACC Foundation provides instrumental support for the College’s students and programs, making a direct impact on the economic growth of our community through the development of an educated workforce.
