The 25th Anniversary Castle Rock Craft Show Extraordinaire will be held at the Douglas County Events Center in Castle Rock on Saturday, November 4th from 9:00am-4:00pm. This traditional kick-off to the holiday shopping season, the largest craft event in the south metro area, features more than 150 vendors from all over the state who will be selling a wide array of handcrafted jewelry, holiday decorations, wood products, gourmet packaged foods, soaps, candles and unique items you won’t find elsewhere. Plus, this show has gained a following through the years because attendees find much more than just crafts. They can shop at “Grandma’s Kitchen,” “Grandma’s Attic,” and a book sale. Bids are taken all day at a huge silent auction and a decorated wreath auction. All vendors donate items for door prizes, which are awarded throughout the day. Area businesses and organizations participate by setting up booths in the Community Corner. There are concessions open throughout the show hours.
More than 5000 people attended last year’s event, and all proceeds go to provide services and programs to senior citizens. It is organized by the Castle Rock Senior Activity Center. In honor of the show’s 25th year, the first 1000 families through the doors will receive a commemorative shopping bag. Non-perishable food donations are taken for a local food bank.
