Jeffco High School Students Honor Canine Caregivers at the American Cancer Society 5K9 Event on March 11, 2017

WHAT: Cancer survivors, volunteers, and community members will unite to honor the lifelong contributions of canine caregivers at the annual American Cancer Society 5K9 event. By supporting the program, you can help the American Cancer Society save lives and help free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer. Funds raised help the American Cancer Society provide free information and support for people facing the disease today, and fund cancer research that will help protect future generations.

WHEN: March 11, 2017, 8am Registration, 9am Walk begins

WHERE:Chatfield High School, 7227 South Simms Street, Littleton, CO, 80127

WHO: Students from Chatfield High School have put this event on the past 3 years. All proceeds will go to the Relay For Life of Jeffco High Schools, benefitting the American Cancer Society.

BACKGROUND:

The Jeffco High School Relay For Life 5K9 event is a fundraising event honoring the life-long contributions of our canine caregivers. These dogs demonstrate unconditional love, joy, compassion, and no judgments of cancer survivors' abilities or appearances.
