Non-profit organizations supporting the health and well-being of Westminster residents are encouraged to apply for a grant from the Westminster Legacy Foundation by March 30.
The Westminster Legacy Foundation was established in 2001 to support and enhance programs and projects that benefit the Westminster community and its citizens. As a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization, the Legacy foundation receives and distributes private resources to promote the betterment of the community. The foundation seeks funds from private sources to build a pool of permanent capital for local philanthropic purposes and distributes such funds for public needs in the areas of youth programs, senior programs, open space and parks, education and library services, public safety, cultural arts, social services, community relations, and historical legacy.
To apply for a grant with the foundation, applicants must submit three copies of the Colorado Common Grant Application (http://crcamerica.org/common-grant-application/) to the foundation office at 4800 w. 92nd Avenue by March 30, 2017. Applications postmarked by march 30 will also be accepted. Those with questions can call Laura Mulkey at 303-658-2319 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
