While home inventories in the Denver area have fallen to around 7,400 homes, Terrain at Castle Rock, Community of the Year for the Denver-Boulder area, is staging a tour to show homes that can be ready for move-in this spring by Lennar Homes, Taylor Morrison and TRI Pointe Homes.
While home inventories in the Denver area have fallen to around 7,400 homes – half of average and a fraction of what was on the market five years ago – Terrain at Castle Rock, Community of the Year for the Denver-Boulder area, is staging a tour to show homes that can be ready for move-in this spring.
Terrain’s ‘Almost Spring Move-in Ready Tour,’ three miles east of I-25 on Founders Parkway, shows homes priced from the $360s that TRI Pointe Homes, Taylor Morrison Homes and Lennar Homes have ready or near-ready for the spring market, generally the period of heaviest home demand.
“We know just how little inventory Denver homebuyers have to choose from in the resale market, and we’ve done everything we can to keep homes nearing completion for spring buyers,” says Carrie Castilian, marketing manager for Lennar Homes, with seven designs set for move-in this month. “This is a great selection, but it will disappear fast as the weather warms up; and buyers need to be looking right now if they want the best choices.”
Homes by all of Terrain’s builders have access to master-planned amenities that led Terrain to be selected for the highest community honor at the MAME Awards last fall – including to a contemporary-designed swim club, more than 400 acres of open space, and a central community elementary school set beside a park.
Included on the tour is a family-sized 4-bedroom, 3-1/2 bath design by Taylor Morrison Homes, ready now. It has 3,516 square feet of finished space, plus a 3-car garage. It shows off a main-floor study, a gourmet kitchen with slab granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and extensive hardwood floors. It’s priced at $491,220 – including a home site larger than 13,000 square feet – uncommonly large for a new home community today.
A few blocks away, TRI Pointe has a 4-bedroom-plus-study plan on view for $363,277. It’s been upgraded with hardwood floors and a gourmet-island kitchen with granite countertops, Kona maple cabinets, stainless appliances, and a large pantry. It can be ready for move-in during April.
Visitors can also see the swim club that residents will be use this summer; Wrangler Park set beside Douglas County’s Sage Canyon Elementary School, and the open space that wraps the neighborhoods, crossed by the Colorado Front Range Trail. The Almost Spring Tour at Terrain is three miles east of I-25 on Founders Parkway in Castle Rock. Head south on I-25 to Meadows/Founders Parkway, then east three miles to Rising Sun or Copper Cloud Street and follow the signs. Terrain and its builders are on the web at TerrainCastleRock.com.
